I’m back I think.

I don’t want this to be a fashion blog anymore although that being said I will still share shoot’s I find beautiful and inspiring. I want to write about life and what hurts and the people places and things that make my heart happy and share with you some of the music and quotes that help me get through my day.

I need a fashion shower

So it’s London Fashion Week and i’ve only managed to get myself to two shows. Bora Aksu and “our” fashion film yesterday.

I feel like now I have experienced first hand all the work leading up to Fashion Week the excitement and buzz has sort of been lost on me. I have however enjoyed spending time out on the terrace at Somerset House enjoying liquid lunches and making invaluable friendships with the other interns.

Tomorrow I’m going to get myself to some shows I promise but in the meantime have a look at the Georgia Hardinge SS2013 Fashion Film “still”

Highs and Lows

Highs

1. Got to re-see some amazing a/w 12 collections.

2. Excited to see my Andrea/Mum

3. It’s your Mums house day again.

4. Dinner tonight with Annie at Boxpark

5. Lots of lovely deliveries for me this week.

Lows

1. 3 more days left in London

2. Going to miss all the lovely people I have met here terribly.

3. TFL

4. I feel like I have so much to do before I leave, but actively doing nothing about it.

5. Fatigue is back.

Post-Fashion week depression

I hate the feeling the day after fashion week has ended. After the mad rushing and all the inspiration, lights and colours, going back to your everyday routine is somewhat depressing. I had the most exciting,  but at the same time, most taxing week – ever.

I had shows all over the place, which I knew from the start was going to be a bad idea …I’m not even going to pretend that I got to all of them. After about six hours of rushing around in heels, spending the afternoon watching live-streams in bed with a triple shot Venti Latte from Starbucks sounded like a better option.

My top three shows this week were definitely Bora Aksu, Georgia Hardinge and InbarSpector. It was also great spending time at the Freemasons Hall. This gave me the chanceto discover some emerging British talent, instead of just watching all the established designers.

So I suppose thats, that… Fashion week is over and now I can go and sulk in bed for the rest of the week. Bring on S/S13

Ps. COMING SOON: A fashion week highlights video.
